This course is designed to support adults in helping young people build the emotional resilience they need to thrive in today’s world. Growing up can be full of challenges—academic pressures, social changes, and the transition into adulthood. This course focuses on practical ways to guide young people in recognising their emotions, developing healthy coping strategies, and building confidence in their ability to overcome setbacks.
It is recommended that learners complete at least one of the courses on mental health, resilience, or wellbeing before taking this course. This will provide a strong foundation for understanding your own resilience so you can effectively support the young people in your care.
By the end of this course, learners will be able to help young people:
- Develop a stronger sense of self-awareness and emotional intelligence
- Build positive coping strategies for stress and anxiety
- Recognise challenges as opportunities for growth
- Improve communication about their feelings and needs
- Strengthen confidence in their ability to manage setbacks and disappointments
